SECRETARY III
An Owensboro native, Sheila graduated from Owensboro Catholic
High School. She attended Daviess County Vocational School
and studied courses in accounting and business.
Sheila has extensive expericne in finanace and accounting. She worked in the banking industry from 1984 to 2002 as a bookkeeper and credit analyst before being employed by the Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission in September of 2002.
Sheila held the position of clerk/typist from her date of employment until July 2004, when she moved into the position as Secretary III with the OMPC. Her duties were expanded with this new position to include a variety of bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and financial recordkeeping. Sheila is the office contact person for the OMPC accountant and provides assistance for the yearly audit in providing necessary information and documentation as requested. She is also responsible for maintenance of personnel files, office supply inventory and other functions as required by the Executive Director.
